You know, there are a lot of reasons not to have a Macintosh. Enough that there's no reason to resort to bizarre, ad hominem, nonsensical, and often simply fallacious attacks.

Acronym: Not Suitable For Work.

Used when posting a link to a site of dubious merit which could cause embarrassment/P45 if linked to while using the Internet at work

I think it's something to do with income tax payments. I'm not to sure as I'm still in my first real job. Possibly not for much longer, but that's a subject for another thread.... and possibly an email to the samaritans.

Re: No offence Mac users! - 24/01/2004 11:48

Re: No offence Mac users! - 24/01/2004 12:18

Is it not a common US phrase? I used 'and' to imply tongue-in-cheek.
Posted by: Daria

Re: No offence Mac users! - 24/01/2004 12:24

It is, but there are a lot of people who think the phrase *is* "tongue and cheek".

Sorry.

Of course those same people are probably the ones who abbreviate et cetera "ect".
