Everytime I look at my profile, I can't believe how "recent" the date was... I was on the Mk1 queue and knew I had found this board was before the date shown.... Got bored and found this..

Brad, that IS crazy. I wonder if you're remember your password after all these years. You only had two posts, and one of them was asking Hugo to put a volume knob on a Mk1! This screen capture is what it'd probably look like if you logged in now...

Yeah, I'd really like a rename option too. I never did ask though. The "SE_Sport" is from a Ford Focus BBS. What was I thinking using a name from a car I had a 2 year lease on?

hehe, reading my old posts, it was funny because I was asking why there was no link to the BBS on www.empeg.com. You could only get to it if you had been mailed Newsletter #8. My first post also had my "homepage.com" page. That company has been out of business for a while too. Hugo replied with a link to www.cdnow.com.

Speaking of nicks, mine "Hardcore" has followed me since the BBS days in the mid eighties. Heh, if you search for Hardcore and certain groups of that time you'll find me in a couple of .nfo files i guess. My name is pronounced "Core" for you english speaking chaps. Hardcore was just the obvious nick for me.

Oh, the joys of bbs'ing - the world just isn't the same without Elusive dreams, Momentary lapse of reason, Boners' domain, Southern comfort .. The list goes on.
