Wow. Anbody else get that sudden uneasy feeling that it might not come back again! I kept telling myself it'd be alright, but I had some dark moments of doubt.

Re: withdrawal - 06/02/2004 08:47

I, too was going "Wait, no, wait, no way. But I NEED to check and see what's going on. I NEED to I tell you!"

It's like to me, this is where I go when I need to find out information on most things. But when the BBS went down, I, of course had no way of checking to see if anything was happening. Not a pleasant feeling. I'm used to being able to find out any information I need.

Don't get me wrong, I understand that there are times that drastic action has to be taken, and I applaud it. I just wish I knew what happened.

Re: withdrawal - 06/02/2004 09:33

Wow!
Two days without the BBS is almost as bad as one day with out an empeg.

Ack, that was a psychology experiment I don't want to go through again. This sound familiar?

Yeah, followed by the thoughts: "I just need to read one more post. Really, I can handle it. I'm not addicted or anything. I can choose to stop anytime I want.

Seriously.

I mean it.

*sob*"

Re: withdrawal - 06/02/2004 11:12

Sounds very familar. In my case, I had three RioCar players in pieces on the workbench, waiting for the BBS to come back up so I could look at a photograph pertaining to a repair I was in the midst of.

Cheers

Thanks to Drakino for getting the site back up. I actually had to do work all day yesterday without any distractions. It was terrible I tell you.

Re: withdrawal - 06/02/2004 15:14

My usual routine every time I sit down at my computer consists of the two shortcut buttons on the top of my logitech keyboard.

I sit in my chair and I hit the "E-Mail" button and the "Home" button. This brings up Outlook and the empeg board. I do this all day long. I kept doing it despite there being nothing at all to see on the empeg board

Oh, and the board isn't my homepage, just what I consider "Home" under that button

It feels soooo good to be here...:)

Re: withdrawal - 07/02/2004 04:06

The link to explain "everything that happened" links to the "I'm Bored" thread. Either I'm missing something or that is not entirely relevent.
