Looks like we can expect more "boobie fallout"

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I guess I can understant them moving the whore's^H^H^H^H^H^H^HBrittney's videos.....but Incubus?!

I guess they don't like images of Hitler's head turning into Jesus's. The video is really good despite that, and is wasted on Incubus.

Anyway, videos with images like this have been consigned to late night for a long time ("Heart-Shaped Box" was, I believe). It's not a nudity thing, it's a controversey thing. Still stupid, but that's their reasoning.

NBC, a unit of General Electric Co., last week edited out a brief glimpse of an elderly woman's breast in an emergency room scene on the hit hospital drama "ER."
I meant to bring this up. The way they say ``edit'', it sounds like they edited around it. In fact, they spot-blurred the video, a la Cops. Very cheesy and distracting.

I agree, I was amazed when I saw that.

I haven't watched MTV since 120 Minutes stopped airing (or at least I seem to remember it stopped being on). Come to think of it, I don't know if I've ever watched it during the day. I just assumed they'd put their money makers on all day long....

This was one of those situations where you end up saying something like "Now it's not that I really wan to see old-lady boob, but come ON..."

Kinda screwed up the episode for me...

boobie fallout
I loved the bit where the rock band dude complained that their video had been shifted off daytime despite being their first video where the singer keeps his shirt on all the way through. In fact, this whole thing is a source of endless brilliant news stories, from Lycos saying that Janet Jackson's zimbabwe has now overtaken September 11 as the most searched-for thing on the Internet ever, to the owner of the fetishwear shop where the outfit was bought threatening to sue Jackson for implying it was an accident, indignantly arguing that someone must have replaced the cup's rivets with poppers "as our clothing is designed to be robust even during the most extreme activities". Priceless.

The conspiracy theorist in me says that the whole deal was carefully orchestrated, to divert public attention from the nonexistent WMD issue.

Don't you mean, "the issue of the nonexistent WMDs" ?

Yeah, I realized after I posted it that I could have clarified it more with a hyphen or quotes or both...

I don't know if anyone here watches the Dave Chappelle Show, but he had a great bit on this:

(On a set spookily similar to "John Edward's Crossing Over")

Audience Member: Negrodamus, why is President Bush so sure Iraq has Weapons Of Mass Destruction?
Negrodamus: Because he has the receipts.

That's one of the best shows on TV. (people can disagree with me on that all they want, I still think it is )

Couldn't agree more. It's the only show on TV that can get me howling and rolling around like an idiot. And I think he should have gotten an Emmy for having the stones to actually do that "White Supremacist Author" bit. I think I watched the whole thing with my jaw on the floor.

Not that I buy it, but as a joke it's hilarious.
