This is fantastic. My.Yahoo.com just added a new feature so you can embed RSS feeds from other organizations into your main page. This is also integrated nicely with Topix.net, which lets you pull up broad categories of news items and, with one click, have it show up in My Yahoo.

RSS is "really simple syndication" -- a way for news web sites to publish XML that describes their current articles. A number of web sites now do this, including DPReview, Phonescoop, Topix.net, and Slashdot. This is great if you like to use something like my.yahoo.com, which puts all of the news you care about, along with stocks, weather, and so forth, all on one web page. Now, you can add content to my.yahoo.com that isn't explicitly served by Yahoo.
