Rio Chiba question - 19/12/2004 12:24

Ok this is probobly a pretty stupid question but im curious so im asking. I just got the Rio Chiba not to long ago and I got a 512mb SD chip but I was wondering would the Chiba take a Micro Drive? All I can find is it takes SD™ or MMC™ cards. and the Micro Drives all i can find about them is that they are CF+** Type II format . If they are not compatible does anyone know where I can find bigger flash chips then 512 or 1gig? Thanks!

No. It can't take a CF of which a MicroDrive is one as it's a SD/MMC only player...

As for bigger SD cards, 4GB ones have been announced but I don't think they're out. A 1GB SD is pretty expensive anyway so a 4GB one is going to be insanely expensive.

Nope. CF is significantly larger than SD/MMC.

SD is a thicker version of MMC with some extra commands and DRM support added.
