Anybody with TiVo get SNL last weekend? - 28/12/2004 23:24

Hi everyone,

Last weekend was a repeat of Saturday Night Live's 30 October 2004 show. I don't watch much TV, but I was out of town and caught this episode in the hotel.

There was an animation called "Fun With Real Audio" that was the funniest thing I've ever seen. I think it was a Robert Smeigel animation. This one featured John McCain struggling to give an endorsement speech for W. The end was had me laughing until my stomach hurt.

I'd love to get this in some kind of computer video file. Does anyone have it or have a suggestion on how to get it? PLEASE?

Thanks in advance,

Jim

If any of your friends have a ReplayTV, it's all over Poopli ( http://www.poopli.com )

If they don't, I do, and could probably request it and transcode it, but it'd take a while.

I don't know anyone who has ReplayTV. If you haven't seen it, I promise it is worth it! I would be delighted if you'd transcode it for me, but I understand if you don't have the time.

Wow. I usually hate the Smigel bits, and that one was no exception. They usually use each one as filler multiple times. Just watch SNL again until they use it again. I imagine it won't be more than a couple of weeks.

If you still haven't found this and want it, I can probably get it to you. I received the episode from Poopli and would just need to xfer it over to my PC and transcode that portion of the show to MPEG-4 or somesuch. Let me know.

I haven't. Thank you so much for the offer! It would be great if you could do this for me.

I appreciate this a ton.
