PRINCE2 - 20/04/2005 08:34

I'm going to apply for a job that requires a working knowledge of PRINCE2. Unless they mean Prince of Persia, then I don't have this working knowledge but is there a website for dummies that I could look at to get up to speed on it? Something with actual examples and completed documents would be great too.

From what I've seen it looks quite straight forward but is it?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PRINCE2 has background info, but http://www.ogc.gov.uk/prince2/ is probably what you are looking for.

I studied it on my HND Soft. Eng. course but have forgotten most of it!

I'm on Prince 2 practitioner course all next week - the required reading alone is a nightmare...it's not structured logically, there are far too many interlinked modules, and according to my brother who sat the course and exam earlier in the year it is five 10 hour days!

Will let you know how I get on!

I looked at doing PRINCE2 certification but it looked like a complete nightmare, so I just stopped looking at jobs that required it instead.
