Does anyone here know Sanskrit ?

If so, is this the correct Sanskrit representation of the Buddhist name Satyalila ("She who is true and playful") ?

Not sure, but is Sanskrit read from right to left, similar to Arabic?

Doesn't look like it, no.

From the looks of it the actual script form of Sanskrit is called Devanagari and wikipedia tells me that "Devanagari is written from left to right".

Devanagari is horribly difficult to write, because there are a huge number of ligatures, mostly without Unicode codepoints. Some Devanagari info here.

And no, you can't have it on a car-player, certainly not for a few hundred dollars.

Don't worry, I don't have any Devanagari/Sanskrit MP3s. One of my friends has recently had their Buddhist ordination and Satyalila is her new name (we are still have finding it hard not to call her Jen, which was her old name).

I came up with the Devanagari for her name by using an app I downloaded called Itranslator, but I wanted to be sure that it was correct before I added it to her new website.

I'd ask Satyalila herself if it was right, but she is away on retreat and I wanted to do it as a surprise for her.
