I don't think the HD tuner card would have anything to do with the connection to the TV. That would be the video card.

I've always assumed I would get the HD-3000 as they're vocal about supporting linux. That's about all I know though.

I have an older model MyHD card that doesn't support QAM (local HD channels over cable use QAM encoding). I stopped using it when I moved because I can't get any over the air digital signals without a pole 20ft above the roof. When I was using the card it was great. The current version has a DVI daughter card and this would allow you to connect it to the TV.
If anyone is interested in it is just sitting in the box and I guess I would sell it for 50 dolllars.

I actually have an HD-3000 (The guy sells them out of his house about 5 miles from me). It is difficult for me to get at least a 50% signal for myth to pick up any channels due to my distance from the transmitter, being next to a mountain, and my antenna in my basement 
. I've put my antenna in other locations where I could not keep it, and the picture came in great. I was only outputting to a monitor though as I have no HD TV. There were some tricks to get it working in myth on FC4, but searching the myth forums/PCHDTV forums I found my answers. I did go with this card purely because it does not support the broadcast flag, if it's ever implemented.

I had wanted to get the HD-3000, but at the time I wasn't putting a media PC together, so Linux wasn't an option. I have the FusionHDTV 3, and when I've tried to use it it's okay, but I can't get very good signals at all. And I'm only about eight miles from the broadcasting towers. But I am sort of in a valley with lots of trees around...

We're only half a mile from Alexandra Palace, and we can't even pick up Digital Terrestrial TV, so don't worry too much about it.

Now I need a recommendation for a low-power CPU/Motherboard combination with multiple PCI slots and sufficient horsepower. Anyone out there know of a Pentium-M mainboard with PCI slots? Something that would accept a Sonoma-760 CPU, or even a Core(2) Duo?
