He did a good job all things considered.
Although I struggle to understand some accents, IMO the Beeb would need an interpreter in order to employ this guy. That said, I can never understand most of what my Scottish relatives say either so perhaps it's just me!

Wow, a lot of messing up at the BBC. The interviewer was also incorrect by saying that the judge ruled in favor of "Apple Corps" (the record label), when in fact judgement was for Apple Computer Inc.
