Tool to view hard drive contents - 11/05/2007 15:30

I know it's been mentioned here before, but I can't find it despite searching.

It was a tool that showed you the contents of your hard drive in a graphical format - a bit like a pie chart IIRC.

Can anyone shed any light on what it was called? I need to find out where all my disk space has suddenly gone!

Thanks

I really like fsv, but then I used to use FSN on the SGI systems. If you use 'fsv' in "tree-V" mode, the height of the construct corresponds to the size. Makes finding the huge files easy as pie.

Yeah, the instant you said Pie Chart, I knew the one you were talking about.

LOVE THAT TOOL.

Haha, thanks for the keywords, Bitt. I've frequently come back to the board to search for that file. In the original thread, I was sticking to a program I was using. I don't think I've used it since then, though. Scanner is a perfect little tool, and I love that it runs as a standalone app. No installation required.

For the mac users, Disk Inventory X is what I use, it's always worked well for me.
