Apple keyboard mappings in Windows - 08/03/2008 22:20

I want to use a spare mac keyboard (the nice old white keyboard, not the horrible new flat one) with a windows machine, but some of the key mappings are wrong notably the " @ and \ buttons. Is there are an easy way to find a driver for this keyboard. A quick google says I need to use bootcamp as it will slipstream the drivers onto a disc for me. Seems like a lot of faff just for some drivers, you don't appear to be able to download them from anywhere on the Apple site.

The mis location of " @ make me think that it is using US English rather the UK English.

It's the extra function keys that I'd like to get working as well.

I used the UK Apple keyboard mappings with my white Apple keyboard under Linux for a while, but then went back to the standard Windows UK PC105 mappings. This means that some of the keys don't produce the characters printed on the keycaps, but they do produce the characters my fingers expect them to, which is the important thing.
