From Costco

Not the panel I would have preferred, I don't think that's been produced yet, but it has the TUF (tough under force) Display, which in this household is important. Think angry 4yr old.

Also a Panny DMP-BD55 BluRay, followed it home.

Nice deal on the plasma. The prices just keep getting cheaper and cheaper.

I can't justify the cost of a Blu-ray player yet. Maybe when they get down to $100. Or maybe when there's actual content that I want to pay real money for.

Memorex Blu-Ray for $140. Not bad. But... is it a cheap piece of sh*t, or is it well-built?

A new unit for that price can't be built like a tank. I probably would be skeptical of a Memorex DVD player, let alone a Blu-Ray player.

It does seem to have some nice features. 5.1 Analog outputs on something so cheap is an achievement. Too bad there are no reviews at all. No firmware updates yet, but the player may be too new.
