Google Wave invite

Anyone have one they can give me?

Yeah. Already did that. I heard that people who've gotten the invite have 8 invites to give out themselves though.

I wonder what it is Google learns about the connectedness of people by using the invite method?

As a point of reference, I have Google Voice, which is invite-only, but they don't seem to allow current users to invite others.

It may just be a load-management method.

Yeah, when I requested an invite for that, I got one within 48 hours. Wave has been a bit more elusive so far.

If anybody has a spare invite going I'd appreciate it. Although I think it is slightly ironic that its got a messy invite system when its supposed to be a collaboration/communication tool...

I too received the email from G.Wave this morning ~10:30am.

So, more invites available here too. Though there was a note with the notice, that new invites being issued, may not be processed immediately.

I have 16 invites.
