Texas wildlife identification (insects)

Anyone have an idea what this insect is? He was on one of the railings at work this morning, and pretty sizable, around an inch for the main portion of the body.

Looked like a Katydid to me, so I googled "green and red katydid" and found this:

Thanks. Someone else narrowed it down to a slightly different subfamily which appears to match the one I saw.

Need to remember bugguide.net in the future. The site I was trying to use offered a handy quick form to fill out to try and narrow it down, but claimed no green and red insects matched what should be in Texas.
