Panel punching - 15/01/2024 18:42

Hi,

I wonder if anyone knows of an online source for cnc punching or some other way I can make panels for my projects?

In the past, I've had a local metal shop cnc punch powder coated aluminum for this, but they charge kind of a lot and lately don't do good work.

I'm assuming there's online services for this now, but my search-fu is failing me.

Here's what I'm trying do to:

That thing in behind the keyboard. It's a PLC test rig.

Thanks,

Larry

You'll get a cleaner cut with something like this won't you?

What about from China from one of the places more known for PCB fabrication like PCBway? They do all sorts of fabrication these days like CNC cutting, 3D printing etc.

There's also places like https://www.emachineshop.com/ - I don't know if they are any good, I have never tried them, I'm just giving an example of the type of business.

Thanks! I'll contact those places.

The cnc punch leaves surprisingly clean cuts, if the machine isn't filthy. Laser leaves the edges way too sharp.
