It's a countersuit to the one filed in the opposite manner. Most likely, it's more of a ``let's agree not to sue each other in the future'' sort of thing.

I'm pretty sure we (ATI) had PVR features in our product line before either the Tivo or ReplayTV. Now that would be interesting. From what I've seen since I've been with the company though, we're not in the habit of filing useless lawsuits.
