Riot & iPod review in Fortune magazine - 08/05/2002 06:08
I have attached a review of the Riot and iPod that was in the latest Fortune magazine. I'm sure this must be infringing on some copyright....

Same old story: "Why would anyone ever need to carry 4000 songs on one device?"
I'm sure tech journalists used to have a lot more imagination.

Why would anyone ever need to carry 4000 songs on one device?
That cracks me up, I'm usually thinking "Why would anyone ever buy a device that holds only 20 songs?" when I read reviews of 32 or 64 Mb players.
Sort of like the infamous quote about PC's never needing more than 64kb of memory.

I really don't understand wanting to carry 1000 songs but not 4000 if I am going to the trouble of having a hdd based player I want to have all my cd's avaliable not half of them how would I pick what to put on there.
