id like to know more about how this auto dj guy works. if you could tell, please do. does it just grab based on play history.. or something more intuitive? knowing you guys, im sure its the latter, youd settle for nothing less. also, will this be somethign with software updates as well?

I wanna know how they fit him in a device so small. I just hope he doesn't talk over my music and tell me which bar the Prize Patrol is going to be at tonight.

prize patrol frequents bars? i knew i was missing out on something good when i decided long ago to not drink. that explains why everyone does it all the time. mmmm...
my real question, that i was afraid to ask, was what his name is. i think Merlin suits him well.

Well that might be a neat feature if you could control the content. At least you could have some fun at other people's expense . . .

It's the same as the Riot, with a couple of new mixes. Really just a series of database queries on criteria such as last play date and number of times played.

In other words, it's a new name (and a slightly different implementation) for weighted shuffles.

It's quite funny reading bits of that FAQ. At one point they mention that DVDs aren't mainstream yet

Vaporware has been released quicker than DNF. DNF has been in development since Dec 1997 apparently... Nearly 6 years!
