So my Karma was delivered to my friend in NJ yesterday and I fly out there on Sunday to collect it. I will have a laptop with me but no hub. With what comes in the box (plastic packaging) will I be able to connect the two together and get some music on the Karma or do I need a hub or something else? The laptop has a USB1.0 port and an ethernet connection.

All you need is power & USB, it comes with cables & a dock

Ah ok. I thought it needed USB2.0, but I guess it's backwards compatible and works - if a little slow- over USB1.0

But a LOT slower, I asked the question before I got mine and I was told that USB2 is more than 10x faster.
