Playing Ogg Vorbis with tRio / ARM - 13/07/2003 12:08

I'm trying to play Ogg Vorbis files on my Rio (rebadged Dell) receiver using tRio. I'm using ARM (under WinXP) to boot and get play lists. I have a .M3U file with ogg files listed, but don't see any .ogg files. BTW- I've tried to do this with RioPlay, and had the same results. How do I access and play?

Also, I read that the Rio Receiver might have problems playing higher quality Ogg files, due to high processing requirements. Has anyone experienced any problems with skipping when playing Ogg files?

I have one album that i ripped to OGG and have the same thing. I assumed it was because i had no ID tagging that it wasn't shown in trio but i never bothered to pursue it.

Sorry, but ARM doesn't do Ogg Vorbis. You have to run JReceiver to get this.

Unless some clever person could write a standalone scanner that could scan for Ogg files and insert them into the ARM database.

This response is a little late, but I haven't had problems with my files up to
-q 6 with the "gt3b1" enhancements, which is a bit under 200 kb/s.
