How does alarm work in Trio?

I love Trio and with the suggestion about linking directly to the stations.

But does anyone know how to use the alarm in Trio? I mean, I see it in the trio.xml file and see how to turn it on, but I don't know how to set the time for it to go off or whatever... Nothing in the documentation that I can see... So how does it work?

Jemmi,

Nope, the alarm doesn't work. I've had it in mind as a "future enhancement", but no one has expressed any interest in it. And so it's just a ghost in trio.xml for now.

tRio needs to be super reliable and stable before this can be implemented and I don't think we're quite there yet.

Cheers

Well... other than the station quirk I resolved and an issue with rebooting and changing IP address on my end that is resolved now with a dedicated server, it's very stable for me. I personally love the idea of an alarm. I think having a preset volume for the alarm and have it play maybe a preset item (song or WAV file) would be perfect for me... Count me in on someone looking for it

I think playing a playlist would be more flexible.
