trio sdk or samples to get me going....

I really like the weather portion of the reza player, and I have seen some good ideas int he "wish list" like the rss feed reader, and maybe simple email checker... At any rate apparently trio is modular enough to make development bearable. At any rate I really would like to get going on developing some of these plugins...

Can someone share a simple example of how these plugins would integrate? If I had just a little push in the right direction I am sure I could post some good stuff as could many of the other developers who just need some more info...
