RRR v. 0.7.1 Released

RRR v. 0.7.1 Released - 06/08/2002 03:01

I didn't realize that the windows software exports the rio receiver's filesystem as read-only. So, previously, when you tried to save a configuration, it would fail -- as it couldn't write to disk.

This version fixes this problem by storing the configurations in place of the playlists. This seems to work fairly well.

I've also finally gotten around to adding resampling (same resampling code from the Mad distribution that's in rioplay), as well as making the POWER button actually do something.

Again, you can find it here :

Can it do random play yet?

No playlist support, and hence no random play support yet. I'll get to that next.

Also, i've got a few emails from people having problems with the latest version. I've released a debugging version

http://www.reza.net/rio/receiver-0.7.1d.arf

If you're experiencing any problems, please try this version and email me what you get on the LCD display.

thanks,

Hi... I tried the new one and it didn't initialize, so installed the debug version and this is what is on the display.

Fixed...

You have to add a favorites first in the regular player software..

(install receiver.arf from the orginal rio installation; select a artist/whatever, press list, click enter..)

then install rrr.
