Volume Control of Line Output - 26/07/2004 14:04
I'm looking for help with implementing volume control over the Line Level outputs of my receiver. I've read through the Jeff Mock approach, but my problem is a total lack of necessary Linux gear to hack the Kernel. Ive written Jeff asking for a "Ready - To Install" solution, but have never recived a reply.
Any suggestions - Thanks!

I believe some of the Rio Receiver software replacements do this. (ones other than the Mock one.)
Another thing you could do is purchase a speaker-level-to-line-level converter box, and plug your speaker inputs into that. That would require no changes to the software.
