No problems anywhere, up to dual 120GB drives. So two 80GB drives are just peachy.

Do they MAKE 120 GB HDs in the right form factor for the empeg? I thought that 80 was the largest... at least the largest that IBM makes now... right?

No, they don't make 120GB laptop drives quite yet. It's the addressing limit for LBA which means you end up with a max of roughly 120GB. If you want to go bigger then you need a LBA48 capable kernel. Mark has a patch but I can't remember if he normally includes it in Hijack.

Not yet. But they will someday.

The empeg kernel has (I think) been upgraded to handle drives larger than 128, but the disk builder images have not (at least not yet). So if they make drives larger than 120, we'll need to do some work to make sure all the support files can run with drives that big.

And depending on your exact situation, you may run into some interesting quirks. Nothing major - I have been running dual 80s for a while now...

The magic number isn't 137?

137,438,953,512 bytes, or 128GB. Your choice.

"Not 120".
