2 empegs, 1 psu - 10/11/2003 09:09

I'd like to power my 2 empegs from 1 psu (still using the 2 US psu's with 240v convertors). So I've bought myself a psu thats the following :-

15v
2.4A

According to the faq I need between 12-16v and 1A. So according to my theory, this should be man enough for the job?

Btw, it's maplin part number is N64AT if anyone is interested.

Current wise you're OK - just check that the voltage doesn't float up above 16V when the current draw is small - like with just one paused empeg attached...

On the back it says +12v~+17v 3.0A (so much for what its rated for). I would imagine that shouldn't be 2 bad. Perhaps I should have gone for the 13.8v version :-)

Yup, that'd been wiser. If you have the option to exchange it, I'd do that...

Just give it more power... what's the worst that could happen?
