Question About Power Antenna Resistor

Question About Power Antenna Resistor - 21/05/2004 12:07

I'm having a problem with the antenna going up and down at the wrong time.

FAQ says put a 1k ohm resistor in.

Radio Shack has 1k ohm resistors in 1/4watt, 1/2watt and 1 watt sizes -- which is correct?

Thanks!

There's not much power there; it's just a signal. The 1/4W should be fine. But any of them would work, if they're cheaper or more available for some odd reason. (I mean, I wouldn't try to use an SMT resistor....)
