jEmplode v54 + Hijack update problems - 23/05/2004 07:27

I am trying to update Hijack with jEmplode and am getting the following error:

You must have Hijack version 242 or higher, be connecting with jEmplode over Ethernet, and 'Use Hijack when Possible' enabled under Tools=>Options...to upgrade Hijack.

I have Hijack v838 installed on it right now, I am connected to it over ethernet: can telnet in, view web interface and sync with jemplode everything. Under tools and options I have that box checked. Its worked before at home but not at work. anyone have any ideas? Thanks

JEmplode uses ftp to connect to the player to upgrade the kernel. See if you can connect to the player with your ftp client of choice. I believe there are some hijack options to disable or password protect ftp which you may have set (and possibly forgotten about).

Oops, the same happened for me. Thought of a bug in jemplode that would be fixed one day. Updated manually then. Thanks for posting and replying :-).
