MK1 slow operation

One of my MK1s has become increasingly slow, I get the following in hyperterminal. Does this indicate the drive is going bad?

It's being cloned to another player, too bad it wasn't the lowest serial #. At least I eliminated the player and cable. The hard drive's prob still under warranty.
