Window XP problem........with Rio - 02/07/2002 06:38

does any one here have problems connecting the RIO with window XP?
i'm using the USB cables and all i get is a message from it saying " RIO IS NOT CONNECTED" or something like that.
but i have no problem connecting the COM port though.
if anyone can help. please do.
