...this sounds like the first serious competition for the empeg, especially given that they seem to say they'll be approaching OEM's, just as empeg does now...

One thing though - last time I checked the rio's interface was pretty plain...

I couldn't read when it'll come. Have I missed something? Are there some pics? What about the visuals? Does it support voice-recognition?
