player freezes in booting! help!?

I checked out hyperterm to see what it would say and this is the last line. "Freeing unused kernel memory: 4k initinit: error in lo"
I pulled the power during a sysnc. error to restart system and has not worked since, what else can I try yo do?
This is sad!

You won't get as far as being able to "q", so instead try doing a Ctrl-C right before it locks up.

Thank you! You are great! Well just to let you know what I did. I reinstalled the car2-developer-v2_00-beta13, because befor I kept trying to re-do the flash, but the player must of had
an error in other memory, that was cleared when installing car2-developer-v2_00-beta13, its all good now! I am sad when my empeg is not right! Happy now!, thanks for the info!!!
