TCL for Empeg - 16/09/2002 21:06

Hey - would it be worth while to compile TCL for installation on the empeg? I would like to write some simple stuff but avoid doing it in 'C'.

Am I nuts?

Eeew. I'd say better bash than tcl.

Hmmm.. BASH vs. TCL....

I've been able to write much fancier stuff in TCL than bash (or KSH or .. whatever) without the help of system stuff... but then again.. I'm not about start a "shell" war..

I should have jumped in earlier, as somebody who is prone to C-sickness, and said:

"TCL....A man after my own heart!"

Yeah, it'd probably be worthwhile. But I reckon perl would be more useful.
