Simple request (in theory):

- Add a hotkey, perhaps CTRL-SHIFT-C, which is just like Copy (CTRL-C), but instead appends to an internal paste buffer, then CTRL-V does what you'd expect.

When I am creating custom playlists, I navigate around a lot to pick songs from here and there, and I always have to navigate back to the target playlist to paste each song in.

This way, I could jump around appending songs to the internal paste buffer, then when I had all the ones I wanted, open the target playlist and hit CTRL-V, and walla.

Thanks,

That is a pretty cool idea ... I'll put it on the list.

And of course, the cadillac version would:

- pop a small window up which will display the paste buffer as you added to it.
- this window would allow you also to remove any you decide you don't want.
- CTRL-SHIFT-V would just paste whatever was in that window to the target playlist
- CTRL-SHIFT-X would do the same for Cut.

Just the original would be great though.

Mike, if you can get the basic idea implemented, I will make a concerted effort to contribute the cadillac implementation.

Cheers,

So what might work for the visible interface is a drag-and-drop window. Just drag songs or lists off the main window onto the new window, drag them around to reorder, and drag them off to delete. Then hit the "squirt" button at the bottom of the window to send the new list off to the player.

Cool idea, rjf.
