die playlists die! - 26/09/2002 02:19

Some time ago, jEmplode had an artist/album view that I copied and pasted to create a playlist.

Now, I'm trying to keep the data, and get rid of the playlist. And I'm having this problem that if I "delete completely" the contained mp3s want to go away, and if I don't, after I sync jEmplode finds the playlist I tried to delete and reattaches it.

Further, I uploaded a tune directory a few days ago and am now trying to kill it. I nuked the parent, and so the children in fact did become unreferenced and empty, but won't die and instead get reattached, and I get to try again.

Gah, this is pissing me off

I think I can manage to throw them all away, but then I need to recreate them.

That's not a big deal either: I can create an on-empeg soup. The problem is I want 2 layers, artist and album, and then a sort by, but not another layer for, track number.

Am I screwed?
