Force Dedupe routine in Jemplode

Force Dedupe routine in Jemplode - 02/08/2003 08:11

Is there a way to force the duplicate checking on all the songs already on the empeg? For some reason my initial upload to a fresh empeg created almost every song twice. All the details save FID are identical.

My other options are to delete every other song through the soups view or re-load the whole collection.

Thanks!

No, but the reason you got duplicates is probably because it imported both the directories and the playlists you had inside them. You can turn off playlist import in Emplode's option menu somewhere.

Edit: Oops. Jemplode. I think it has the same option somewhere, but I'm not sure.

Nope, it doesn't.

That's why I have to always sync twice.
Once in Emplode because it is smart enough to ignore m3u files.
Then once in Jemplode to pick up my Soup Views.

OKOK .. yeah that does suck ... It will be a little bit till the next jEmplode release comes out, but I'll queue this up.

Thanks, Mike!
That should save me a lot of hassle.

Cool! Thanks Mike. I'm in no hurry as it's my spare/desk empeg for the time being.
