New Skins as promised

As promised (4) new skins.
LCD, Empstick, MkIII, and MkIIIa.
I'll be making a small site linked from riocar.org with all
of the skins soon.
Please note some of the skins have a reg. and small version
The MkIII can be controlled by both screen and buttons. (you'll see what I mean)
The MkIIIa is the MkIII with the screen nicley tucked in.

I like the stick and Mk3 designs.

One thing: You should be careful about the contents of your zip files, some of them have "thumbs.db" and source PSD files included within them. And the larger Mk3 skin was bigger than 200 k.

Tony, how hard would it be to have a pull down menu for the skins? Would we need to move the skins to a "skins" folder then have empegface look for the contents in there? As it stands, I have to open the empegface directory and see what the folder names are..

Yeah, I know it needs it. Someday. Right now my to-do list is mostly to get it ported to winsock so I don't have to do the thrashing to read the image.

The font I used for the MKIII is Neuropol which I belive I grabbed from http://www.fontsnthings.com.
The word "Rio" is actually their logo.

Unfortunately I never tackled a winamp skin due to it's complexity, scripting and coding that needs to be done, or any other skin for that matter.
Creating skins for Tony's Empegface was just so easy I had to make my own!
I guess I could take a crack at one though. It can't be that hard. What did you have in mind?

Anything with a mk2 on it would be cool

Working on something for WinAmp3. It's useless trying to make an Empeg for WinAmp2 because of how the skin is structured. It isn't ready for release yet, but the attachment gives an idea how it's coming. The worst thing so far has been finding a font that works. When I have a bit more time I'll make a TrueType font out of the Empeg's onboard fonts, but for now it's a decent match... The titles scroll, the little glowing dot goes along the dotted line, the buttons click in and out, etc....

Gah. Still a ton to do... But I'm planning on doing button-LEDs and a full selection of color lenses.....

I used a composite of fascias from the "Lens Comparison" page. Someone let me know if that isn't allowed.

I wasn't sure on when I was going to be able to find time to learn the whole Winamp3 skinning proccess. (i don't even use winamp)
Maybe I'll shoot for a MusicMatch Jukebox skin.

Actually, Winamp3 is easier to skin than Winamp2; Almost everything is XML based. That'd be great to have an Empeg skin for MMJ, though!
