JEmplode 54 reboots my player

I upgraded JEmplode recently (from v43 to v54), and now every time I sync, just after the player has been restarted, it reboots. It's so soon after the restart that I only get a tiny snippet of music - ¼ second, tops.

I don't get any clues on the console (no stack dumps etc. as we usually see with player crashes), and I'm at a loss to what's causing it.

It could be coincidence that this started happening at the same time as I upgraded JEmplode, but it certainly seems suspicious...
