Shuffle Bug - 15/05/2002 12:52

I anyone else having this problem?
After upgrading to Hijackv266
the button command for shuffle crashes the player and outputs crazy stuff to display
http://playerIP/?button=Shuffle
(see my terrible webcam pics )

On the other hand, if I issue the command as:
http://playerIP/?button=20DF0D
it goes off without a hitch.

I made it:
1. For convenience
2. Cause the RCA jacks are so damn chinsy (my buddy had one break off!)

Does not happen here, with v264.

Interesting. In my experience, I've found that 1/8" jacks are historically less reliable than RCA jacks. I've never had trouble with the jacks breaking on my players.

Yes - they are chinsy. Not sound quality wise, but structurally. They would be much more durable if the jacks were attached to the casing for support. I think the jack mod is a fantastic idea... And amazingly enough - I see suomi has affixed it to the case. Smart sucker.

Hijack v267: [was: Shuffle Bug] - 16/05/2002 13:16

Thanks. Somebody emailed me about it as well (good thing, I'm not on the BBS too often right now).

Fixed in v267. Really tricky, that one!

Cheers
