Install in a peugeot 205 - 25/06/2000 04:43

Hi,

I have a Peugout 205 GTi (1987). Having looked at the DIN slot, I am a little concerned about the mounting angle.

Does anyone else have any experience of running an Empeg in this car. I know that the Empeg should not be used at a large angle, and the suspension setup on this car is not exactly forgiving.

Thanks,

James.

Had mine in my 87 205 since early September '99 - still going strong no problems at all.
( 205 din slot location is a pain tho !! & can get pretty tight back there with
all the cables and the heater !!! )

The player more expensive than the car, eh?

I will resist the temptation to reply with my normal two word solution ( sex & travel ) coz as it happens my limited edition 205 happens to be worth approx 5 times the cost of the player ;-)) which is worth 8 times less than my TVR cerbie which it also fits in !!

PS : how's you robin reliant getting on ??

In reply to:

TVR cerbie

I took a Cerbera out for a test drive shortly before I moved over to Switzerland. I had one big problem - my feet could only just fit in the footwell and run the pedals. Took a Chimaera out for a drive from a dealer over here - luvverley. The only reason I've got a Golf cabbie is cos the blimmin Swissies wouldn't lend me, Johnny Foreigner, the money for a TVR.

Ah well, when I get back to the UK....

Nick.
