Volvo S60R - 31/05/2004 13:51

Finally. Just got it done this afternoon.

You can look at the gallery and see more, including the supposedly professional install I got earlier that I got a refund for. You can see my old BMW install, too.

Exactly what I was thinking, looks like a stock unit from Volvo. Sweet!

For the record, the dash adapter and pocket are Volvo-made parts. I was surprised to find that Volvo made such things and that they were so cheap (something like $25 each).

SO NICE! It's refreshing to see the dash of a hottt new V modified to the brilliant simplicity of the previous models.

Mmmmmm, and that R's a manual, no less. How many HP under the hood of that quality machine?

Oh, and before it goes on much longer:
/me takes out Bitt's "dash pocket" and puts in a Sony XA-39 <?> switch and a trimmed down Alpine headunit
You know, incase you ever need those silly plastic discs or antiquated frequency modulated waves anymore.

Re: Volvo S60R - 14/06/2004 22:24

It's listed at 300HP and 295 lb. ft.

And I have an empeg radio module. I'd occasionally like a CD player, but they're all so ugly, and I think that if I were to get one, I'd get a nav unit one, so until I can afford one of those, it'll just be the pocket.
