FINALLLY!!!! 94 Town Car Install DONE!!!! - 22/03/2002 17:25

Well after having an empeg for months now the install is done. I had to make a custom box for the unit to install it as I wanted an aftermarket deck as well as the empeg. I will post a pic of it soon. It was a fairly easy install. All I need now is a nice aluminum face if they are ever made hehe.

The custom box thing sounds interesting. We'd like to see details.

Do a whole install gallery over on www.riocar.org . Get a user ID and password and log in there, then use the "request your own gallery" link at the top of the gallery pages. By the time you've got the photos ready, Tom will have approved the gallery and you can put it all there.

Thanks I'm going to do that but I only have pics of the box before I put it in the car and then when it's all installed. I never took any pics as I was doing it should have. I put a pic up here of the final look then set up the gallery.

Shot of the bracket before it was put in the car. It replaces the cupholder/ashtray that slides out took that part on.

How many times am I going to have to teach you how to crop and optimise a jpeg? Then you can have an enormous picture and still have it take up less than half the size of this one.

You also won't take up so much of my network bandwidth (uploading and now for me to download) plus you don't tie up my phone line for so long.

I suppose I could have just walked the few feet in person to rip him a new one, but it's much more fun to post it in public.
