a separate thread made me think of this. using the plays and times skipped (not implemented yet, i believe) to not so randomly randomize playlists. playing more of what is listened to. with the ability to turn this option off of course. i could go on and on..

yes.. but thats not exactly what i was going for.

I understood that you wanted a random playlist with things played more often to be weighted towards the front. That could be accomplished with something like : PLAYS=5000,RANDOM=1. As you said, SKIPS is not yet implemented.

my bad.. too much going on at the moment. i basically meant i dont want to micro-manage. yes, i see what you saying is a solution.. but not one im seeking.

You're thinking of custom playlists which are sorted randomly, which isn't what custom shuffles are.... Look a bit more, and you should find what you're looking for.
