It would be nice for emplode to back out to the first init dialog "chooser" from within the program without re-starting it.

You can do this already. Just close the child window (use the lower of the two X buttons), and then select File|Open.

Interesting. So what you're saying is that each child window is an "opened" empeg?

Does this mean that eventually we'll be able to open two empegs at the same time? Can you say drag and drop? That would be sweet.

Nah, you guys'll prolly disable that on purpose. Oh well.

You can open two windows on the same empeg (Window|New), and then drag and drop between them to give you more control over arranging your playlists.

While we could quite easily support opening two players (although there's a bundle of changes that would need to be made to emplode under the hood), it's unlikely that, even if we let you look at both, we'd let you drag and drop between them.

There should be one available already. Just go to Control Panel|Sounds, and assign one.

Whaddya know, there they are. I'll be damned.

The only reason I never heard them on my system is because they default to Window's wave files like tada.wav and chord.wav, irritating sounds which I'd long since deleted off of my hard disk.

Time to go assign them to something more irritating, like Monty Python or MST sounds...

I suggest:

"Ah! I see you have the machine that goes *ping*!"

Heh, my "incoming mail message" sound is the bit from "Grail" where the boy imprisoned in Swamp Castle shoots an arrow out of the window with a message attached. You hear the arrow streaking through the air, piercing the chest of Lancelot's paige, and the paige exclaiming, "Message for you, sir!" as he falls to the ground...
