Here's one for the wishlist...
I've used my Empeg at a couple of parties so far. Everyone's very impressed, of course, and the range of the remote control is amazing. So amazing, in fact, that across the room it's actually very hard to use the remote control, since you you can't see what text is being shown on the menus!
So, how about a option (e.g. 7 on the remote to toggle) that zooms the menu text from standard to really-really-big, so that you can read it from across the room? You'd almost only have to be able to read the first 8 characters or so to know where you were in the menus.
