volume control

Hi,

This topic has been discussed before but I haven't heard anything along these lines for a while. A while back someone requested a software option to prevent the volume control from preceding past 0 db. I thought it was a great suggestion at the time and pretty much forgot about it till now. I've pretty much stopped using the remote and mostly use the rotary knob and one thing I've noticed is that it is easy to go past 0db and create distortion. Has anyone created a kernel hack or something to prevent this?

You can do it with a kernel hack, but v1.1 has an option (settable in emplode) which does it too.
