R/O CVS Tree - 21/07/2001 18:01

How about making the source tree public?

I'd love to see the CVS tree for the 1.1 pre-dev-.0001a kernel, etc.

Hi.

You don't really expect empeg/sonic blue to release the whole source tree, do you? I mean this is the central piece in the player (no matter how sophisticated the hardware may be, the player is still the main thing).

there have been some painfully long and drawn out discussions on why empeg should or should not release their source code. if you do a search, you should be able to find these threads.

True Tony, but it would be fun wouldn't it?

Hell that's what Linux is all about isn't it? Fun, scary stuff? ;-)

Say Greg, you don't fit many MP3s on that one, do you? How did you manage to boot that thing? I mean after removing the harddisc and 2MB of the RAM?

Razzn Frazzn Skruddl Doodl Flarn ....

Alright Sven, even after your post I had to sit there and think about what you were trying to tell me for at least a few minutes. I'm sure it had everything to do with the fact that I just woke up .... yes that's it. I must have written that while asleep too ... yes....
