Missing from the Manual - 23/08/2001 03:29

The player manual (Rio version) doesn't mention that the alpha keys on the remote can be used as shortcuts in the menus...

Hmm, this one slipped through proof reading it seems.

Page 31 at the bottom should describe order tweaking, but the wording is blatently wrong. It seems to have been confused with a feature that we have not yet implemented, whereby you can press and hold one of those buttons to go direct to the appropriate search function.

The details were right on the addendum that we produced for the empeg version of the manual - but wrong in the complete Rio manual.

Sorry.

I thought the empeg remotes couldn't do this.. Do the new Rio-branded remotes have this ability?

Yes, the Rio remotes have repeat on all buttons. The feature won't be available on the Kenwood remote.

Yes. You can order one outside of the USA now. Stock for the USA is being manufactured as I speak.

The store at www.empeg.com says:

"Extra Remote (Reference #Remote)
Additional IR remote control. Note that one remote is included with each Rio Car.
